Since July 2024 I have built internal automation at Refurbed, in a two-person IT team, including an AI pull-request reviewer and AI support drafts. These eight demos rebuild that work with fictional data, so you can trigger the failures it was designed to handle.

Equipment, without the loose ends.
Equipment requests connect employee details, device choices, shipping and returns. Most of the work is in handling incomplete data and uncertain delivery responses.

My contribution
I built the onboarding and return workflows: equipment forms, shipping actions, address validation, return tracking and clearer explanations when a request is blocked.
- What could go wrong
- A retry after an unclear carrier response could buy a second, billable label for the same shipment.
- What I ruled out
- Retrying label creation automatically, or creating a label before the address is complete.
- What I chose
- A missing address stops the shipment. An uncertain carrier response is reconciled before another label can be bought.
What shipped
Address checks now run in the employee form and again on the server. Each external action is recorded once, so a retry can't repeat it, and an uncertain response is reconciled before another label is bought.
